What’s the difference between cooking wine or sherry and regular drinking wine or sherry?
Good question, Geraldine. We recommend only cooking with wine or sherry that you would like to drink. Cooking wine or sherry tends to contain too much salt and is not necessarily high quality. So why run the risk of ruining your dish when you can make it the best it can be with the right ingredients? Also, most recipes don’t require you to use the whole bottle of wine, so if you use half in the recipe, then you have some wine to serve with your meal!
