Last Chance: Your Young Chef Could Win a Trip to the White House!

Big news! There are only a few days left to submit your child’s recipe for the 2016 Healthy Lunchtime Challenge. The stakes are high: You and your young chef could win a trip to Washington, D.C. – and the deadline is April 4!

In case you missed it, this year, Rachael and her Yum-o! organization have joined First Lady Michelle Obama, as well as the Newman’s Own Foundation, PBS flagship station WGBH Boston, the U.S. Department of Education, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture in hosting the fifth annual Healthy Lunchtime Challenge and Kids’ “State Dinner” to promote cooking and healthy eating.

Help your talented young chef (ages 8-12) submit a healthy lunchtime recipe for a chance to win a trip to the 2016 Kids’ “State Dinner” held at the White House and even dine with the First Lady and Rachael! One winner will be selected from each state and territory, and their parent or guardian will attend as well. Move quick, though! The entry form closes Monday, April 4 at 11:59pm EDT.

For all the official rules and how to enter, visit pbs.org/lunchtimechallenge. Good luck!
