Hi...I missed yesterday's show about Mom's doing something to make school lunches better :( My son has Type 1 diabetes so I get a list of nutrional facts about the lunches and they are terrible. I would love to hear some suggestions on how to help the school improve the lunches.

Thanks Janice

I completely understand frustration of picky eaters. My husband and I are by no means gourmets, but our two year old would live on chicken nuggets. I want to go to school to be a nutritionist and am trying to make great choices for my family. However, it is extremely challenging to continually argue with a two year old over what she is going to eat for dinner. Particularly after I have worked all day, stayed up all night with the newborn, and went to school, picked up the house, and done five thousand other chores. ANY advice would be very beneficial.

I too have three little boys (10, 5, & 3) who are picky eaters, especially when it comes to veggies. I have found a really quick and easy way for my boys to get their 5-7 servings of RAW fruits & veggies every day - MonaVie. Kids only need 2 oz. of the original blend of MonaVie everyday and they are getting the antioxidant equivalent of 5 - 7 fruits & veggies (I drink the active blend). My kids even like the taste! It has especially helped my 10 year old who has had bowel problems for several years (he would hold it for up to three days till he drank mineral oil). MonaVie is a blend of 19 fruits (including prune juice) and it has helped him stay regular everyday. For more information or to see how it has helped my friends and family, see my website: http://www.mymonavie.com/jendeterman/mystory.asp

It's good that you got 5/6 year olds to eat veggies.I actually read a book that that tells you recipes that you can purre the veggies and put them in stuff like cookies, pie, ect.
