The kids get involved with the cooking and help to make the place cards that will go at each persons' place at the table. In addtion to everything thing else that goes on at Thanksgiving, the kids look forward to after Thanksgiving when their elves come to visit. After Thanksgiving is over, they leave out crackers and water so that their elves will come from the North Pole! We have had many wonderful memories with our elves!
