I used this website, http://www.dailytreatstore.com to send some last minute gifts (only $10 bucks to anywhere in the US) to some friends on the west coast. I like to use it like a Secret Santa because it keeps my costs to a minimum. And the best part is that if my friends don’t like the gift, it’s only partially my fault. BTW, they loved it, it was Brooklyn coffee beans and a scented candle. I found out afterwords!

For my mom who loves Rachael Ray I took recipes that I had cut from Rachael Ray’s magazines. Typed them up on my computer and printed them in a recipe card format. We put at the bottom of the card Recipe from Rachael Ray. Then we pasted them in a mini scrapbook that I picked up from Goodwill for .49 cents. And on every other page my two year old decorated the page with his artwork and scrapbook odds and ends. A useful and a great memory book for Grandma that cost under a dollar. Just wanted to let you know that a great and thoughtful gift can be homemade and fit in any budget.
