   I’m writing to thank Rachel for opening my mind to adopting a pitbull mix from our local shelter.I have always had a fear of the breed and you did alot to help me realize the joy and love a pit could bring to uor lives! She is a 5 month old named Izzy (ironically, my husband named her without knowing you have an Izzy too)and she is such a sweetheart! Thank you again for sharing your doggie experiences with everyone and Izzy thanks you too!

   I want to thank Rachael for all the work you do for animal shelters all over the country. I rescued 2 pug puppies from an abusive home. I suggest that if anyone wants to give a dog or cat a good home, go to an animal shelter and adopt your new best friend. Those animals don’t want anything from you but a little TLC. Thanks again Rachael…You are the best

    My 11 year old yellow lab “lucky” isn’t very lucky anymore, he has hip displacia and is going blind and deaf. His time here with me is short, when he goes I can not be with out a dog. I am looking for a rotweiller that is in need of rescue. If anyone knows of dog that is worth saving, please let me know.

    Hi, my dog looks like the male version of your dog. They could be twins. They even have the same facial markings. If you would like to see how much alike they look, please let me know where I can send a picture. Thanks

    We do not have a shelter for homeless pets in our community. I would like to start one, because if you call the Sherifs Dept. or Police all the can do is try to find owner but they have no facility, so the only thing they can do is put them down.We take in strays ad try to place them, but the vet and food bills are apidly getting beyond our means.Often we have more than a dozen dogs and even more cats. I am going broke tring to spay or neuterthem. Help any info would be great. Thanks
