I use Lemon or orange rinds in the sink disposal. It leaves a wonderful citrus aroma and helps the blades also

Stonewall Kitchen sells an oder eater kitchen candle that works amazingly well -- especially on those fish and bacon odors.
I start it as soon as I start cooking.

1/4 cup of vinegar in your wash will remove cooking, sweat (& other body-related odors) from all items. I use this with EVERY wash and have taught my husband to use it in his bicycling and jogging clothing in particular. In gear that must air dry and cannot have fabric softner, I use apple cider vinegar & it gives the clothing the fresh scent of apples.

Regarding the bacon, I now bake in the oven like most restaurants to--to help it stay straight and even. Since I've been doing this, the smell isn't as bad a frying. Give it a try!

Vinegar is also the easiest way to clean a microwave without scrubbing. Simply put the vinegar and water mixture on the microwave plate and turn it on for 3 or 4 minutes. All you have to do is wipe the remains out with a wet sponge! Walla! Edwina

Removing odors from our cabins is often a chore but one odor...somewhat impossible. Maple Bacon. It seems to permeate EVERYTHING. I would like to ban that from being sold at the market in town. We have sprayed Febreeze, "whatodor" product, even at times, washed all the curtains and bedding and the walls.... I will try the vinegar trick and let you know how that works. Besides asking our guests to not cook it, any other thoughts? And why is it so awful?

For seafood odors a very small bowl of milk will do the trick. I haven't tried it with anything else.
