I see how much you love your baby Izzy, but I must ask… do you have any other pets? I know this is probably an odd question, but I have always woundered if you had a cat. Do you even like cats? Well I just had to ask lol. Also was on your website for your dog food and I was hoping to find out will you be making a food for our cat friends as well? I love my cats as much as my dog and I would love it if you came out with a healthy food for them too.
Alright thank you for your patients and I admire the work you are doing for all thoes needy animals. I wish more people did the same. We need more kindness in the world, especially for our furry four-legged friends who cant speek for themselves.
    Thank you,
    Ryan

    AWE SO CUTE !

  7. The shot of Isaboo is just great. Could you possibly put a picture of Kevin Bacon’s pit bull on your web site. I missed it & was told it looks a lot like my pit that I lost a few years ago. Thanks. I wish people would realize they make the best pets. They are so loveable and very loyal. It’s to bad that jerks like Michael Vic have given these dogs a bad rap.

What a beautiful picture. How can you resist such a cute face. I love your show Rachael and I am so impressed by it. Do you think you could share that recipe again for substituing the can of pumpkin in chocolate cake? And, do you think it would work for brownies? You have helped me to become a better cook and I am so grateful to you for that. I don’t think you have a selfish bone in your body when it comes to your gift of cooking and food to others.

  9. Love it Rachel! Check out the one he took of my beautiful pittie-mix boy, Echo Doppler…Also on his website under ’senior dogs’.

Gotta love pitbulls! <3 They are the best dogs ever to have!

  12. OH HOW SWEET. How can a person not LOVE’EM!!! Just like all of your other faithful RRay lovers, I to would love to meet you. Your personality is just wonderful. I have a cocker spaniel named angel, but she dosen’t have very much longer to live…….. I come home everyday just praying she is still breathing. Her health and all is ok for her age. Her only problem is her one ear that gets infected alot. I spend lots and lots and lots of money on antibiotics just to keep her happy and from suffering. I know I will have to go to a therapist when she dies. She is the only one here with me. My husband works in other states all the time. She is 13 years old. My daughter is 21 and married. Well i enjoy you show. I wish you and your family and pets LOTS AND LOTS OF HAPPYNESS AND GOOD HEALTH. God Bless You. Paula

  19. my son brought a puppy home almost 6 years ago (3/4 pit bull 1/4 black lab) just knew he was gonna be trouble but am very glad i let him keep it. he is one of the sweetest most well behaved dogs all around that we have ever had.have other dogs and cats too and he is really good around them. i am now sure that these dogs get a really bad rap from people who really don’t know any better and who have never had the ABSOLUTE PLEASURE of spending time with one

Isaboo is a gorgeous dog. My collie/pyrenese mix will watch her when she’s on your show. I have no children with the exception of my girl, Cheyenne who is now 7 (I adopted her at 10 months. She’s a pound puppy…a 3 timer due to be put down. She’s an absolute love. She’s just large and clumsy. She even tolerates my insane siamese cat. She absolutely loves her Nutrish and thanks you for it very much.

  21. Cheyenne said:

I just wanted to put my 2 cents in. My human is everything to me and I spend all of my time with her. She is disabled and always home with me. The few times she goes out she’ll leave the television on so that I don’t miss you when she’s gone. She will usually tape it too so I can watch you twice. I’m always looking for Isaboo. I love your Nutrish and hope Izzy accepts my humans friend request on FB.

    Rachael,

With so many animal lovers in the world, have you ever thought of doing an Animal special to talk about how to deal with grieving for the loss of an animal. This is a site that many people can go to blog with each other, post about their loss. People get together and chat about it too. Dealing with a loss of an animal can be just as hard as lossing a child for some. I lost a few years ago my Old English sheep dog I had for 13 years. It was one of the hardest things for me to deal with from knowing what to do is right in letting her go, and then not having her with us anymore. It took me over a year to overcome the pain. Today after 3 years, I still get a tear in my eye when I look at her picture. http://www.rainbowbridge.com/

hello rachel. your Isaboo is absolutely beautiful. i wanted to actually write to you and say THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH. i have two dogs, they are jack russell/chihuahua mix. they are brothers and the littlest one weighs only 10 pounds. however, in Decemeber 2009, he started having seizures, really bad seizures. of course i was highly upset, and he continued to have them till i realized that it was his food. i went to the store and read all the ingredients to all the food bags and i liked how healthy yours was so i decided to try it. since he has been on your rachel rays nutrish, he has had not one seizure and is back to being a very hyper, happy dog. So i just wanted to say THANK YOU for creating such a wonderful food product. My dog’s name is badger and he thanks you making him feel better.
once again, THANK YOU SO MUCH
    BADGER AND ELIZABETH

    Your baby looks soooo real.
Makes you want to reach out and pat her.
I also have a 4 legged baby and have started using your specially made dog food.
Jackie loves it and his coat is shiney and his eyes clear. I’ve had to start premeasuring his daily amount so I won’t overfeed him.
You know how dogs are. Hey, remember me. I’m a dog and I’m always hungry. :O)
    Thanks Rachael!

  27. We have a 6 month old pit bull/greyhound aka greybull named precious she’s the best dog I’ve ever had and I’ve had 4 I love her so much she’s like my child I talk to her all the time like she’s human I spoil her rotten too I love it.

I love Isaboo so much. She is adorable and considering she looks just like my pit. Well she is white and brindle. But Is has that cute little circle of brown on the top of her head and so does my little pup who is named Asia. I love what you do for their breed and also for us owners. You help others realize that it is not the breed that is bad. Thank you Rachael. Oh and I would love to send you a picture of Asia, but I didn’t see where I could do that. Thanks again.

    Hey Rachel,

Just wanted to tell you I just switched my dog over to your food brand and he loves it!

  35. I was wondering if you made a kibble for really small dogs. My Titus likes your food, but he has trouble with bigger kibble. It is very hard to find brands that are really small pieces, most good brands are not and cheap ones I can find smaller kibble, but not healthy for him, he loses weight on them but can eat them. He will be 3 years in November 2010, almost 3 pounds. I do feed him wet food in the evening but like to keep out dry for him. I do not want him on just wet food, I don’t think it’s good for him and I know when he has to go poddy if i feed him his wet early evening.

Izzy is a beautiful dog. I have two pits one is a red nose named snickers and her brother bubba. They have eaten your snacks and love them. Thank you for taking the time to show you pitt Izzy and letting people know what a great breed they really are, they are wonderful, loving lazy dogs. Mine have cats as their best friends and spend most of their time on the couch with them. Please keep up the good work with your breed awareness, and all the work you do for the homeless animals. You are a wonderful person and a great cook.

Rachael- Thank you for making the dog food “Nutrish”. I tried it and my dog Sasha loves it!! It is affordable readily available and has natural wholesome ingredients!!! I bought the chicken and veggie. Looks like a winner after trying many brands both expensive and some very untasty.

Your dog Isaboo is so adorable has so much character and sole in her eyes too!!

I love your show and all you do, your a great person.

    Rachel,

What a great pic! I love how much you love Isaboo!! I love my poodles just as much. I found out years ago that I can’t have kids, so they are my “kids”. They are so spoiled!! I know that you have the proceeds from Nutrish donated to help animals. Have you ever thought about Isaboo coming out with her own line of clothes for future donations? I am sure that people would love dog collars, shirts, sweaters, feeding bowls, and etc. with your words like..”EVOO” and “Delish” and “Yummo” and “I Love Rachel Ray” or like how Scooby Doo would say it..”I wuv Wachel Wray” on them! I am sure that people would purchase these types of items that they need everyday for their pets (especially if the knew that the money would go to charity). Just a thought! Keep up the awesome job you do with cooking great meals and just making people smile!

    Sincerely,
