The ingredients list was pretty darn impressive. I’ve found that sometimes tomato sauces can be a little acidic, but Italian plum tomatoes pretty much guarantee a mellow flavor.

The meatball is not as important as what it is drenched in. The same meatball in a half a dozen sauces can make then a half a dozen different meatballs. Any of the on a crusty bagette with lots of cheeze is the perfect lunch.

Oh I loved ur show on sleepin disorders I always thought I was by myself. I go all day and will not eat sweets when I’m sleepin I will eat everythin in the house that is sweet even if I have to resort to just plain syrup. This recipe makes very tasty meatballs with any gound meat. It is very similar to the one I found several years age. My recipe calls for garlic. I am thinking about using this recipe as the base to recreate the “pizza burger” They were available in diners in my area during the 60’s. These days it is hard to find any diner making this burger and the ones I do find do not cut the mustard. A slice of mozzerella and some Marinara on an Italian bread type roll. It could be a smell-a-vision time machine!

I am not surprised by this blog report at all. I actually purchase this product from the Whole Foods at Union Square in Manhattan and they are everything you say they are and more. I have had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Mancini when he was giving out free samples. I usually pass by the people offering tastings but he was very dynamic, so i gave it a try. Keep up the good work Mr. Mancini and I hope I have the pleasure of seeing you again.

I tried meatball Dan’s meatballs in the winter of 07
and I must say I have never tasted meatballs so close to my Mothers (yes Mom You Win). I couldn’t wait to Open my store so I could share them with the World. Come try them.

What a coincidence, I just bought these meatballs the other day and was so floored by their great taste that I am writing a letter to the company to tell them how great their meatballs are! I just hope I can still get them now that the word is out!
