<description>The raspberry syrup looks wonderful. Will try it. Now that the season for local blueberries is here (in the North) folks should try this.

Blueberries N Cream Pie

9" Pie shell (home made or store bought)

Add filling. Chill for 1/2 hour or so. Serve

Filling:

In a big saucepan combine

1/4 c sugar (If you like sweeter, add a couple extra T of sugar)
3 T cornstarch (if you like thicker, add and extra 1/2 T of cornstarch)
1/8 t salt
grated peel of a lime
1 T lime juice
1 1/2 c blueberries (fresh best, if frozen do not thaw)

Cook over medium hear stirring constantly thick thick and blueberries are soft.
Stir in the rest of the blueberries to make a total of one quart

Whip

1 pt of whip cream- stiff (a tablespoon or two of sugar - superfine if you have it
before whipping if you like sweet)
