BLT 10 Ways: A Classic Reinvented

Crispy, salty, savory bacon. Fresh, crunchy, cool lettuce. Juicy, firm, sweet tomato. BLTs are magical.

Even though I don’t have the research to back it, I think BLTs are one of America’s favorite sandwiches. They’re perfect and satisfying any time of day, any time of year.

Thanks to Rachael’s creativity in the kitchen, we’ve got a few more ways to enjoy this super-savory flavor combo beyond the basic sammie. Whether you need a refresh for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or simply a snack, you can grab some BLT goodness whenever you like.

BLT Soufflé Frittata

Breakfast BLT? Absolutely. Serve it with garlic bread and fresh arugula for a brunch that doesn’t mess around.

Guacamole Deviled Egg Salad BLTs
GuacEggSalad
If you like guacamole, egg salad, and BLTs, this is your dish. Even though it’s shown on a sandwich, you could totally serve this spread on its own or even as a dip with crispy pita chips.

SteakSammies
Don’t let the name fool you: This is a BLT, with the added benefit of thinly sliced steak and amazing homemade horseradish-ranch-sour cream dressing.

Lighten up your BLT by ditching the bread and upping the greens!

Everything Cream Cheese BLTs on Everything Bagels
BLT Bagel

The secret sauce (literally) here is the customization of basic cream cheese with flavors like scallions and red peppers. Toast up your bagel, and this is a perfect BLD BLT.

Crispy Chicken Parm BLT Hero Sandwiches

Siena-Style Garlic Sauce and a custom bread crumb mix make for heroic heroes!

Mexican BLT Lobster Rolls
Lobster

Lobster rolls are one thing, but adding avocado, sour cream, and cilantro (among other amazing flavors) takes them to a whole new level. Grab one while you can – these sammies won’t hang around!

BLT Mashed Potatoes
Mashes

All right, so the “T” in these BLT Mashed Potatoes stands for thyme, but I couldn’t resist adding in this great spin on a favorite side dish.

BLT Toast Points with Welsh Rarebit
Toast
Rarebit, if you haven’t had it before, typically calls for melted, savory cheese on toast (yes!). This version brings in our favorite BLT ingredients for a hearty and filling bite.

BLT Penne

Warm pasta with the savory goodness of bacon. The ultimate comfort food!

Great ideas Rachael! We make our BLTs with fresh mozzarella and basil mayo, served on a ciabatta roll. Sometimes I will even add a fried green tomato when I get them in season.

Love all of the above. One of our faves is BLT burrito. Oh yeah.
