Paprika - Smoked
Facts
What is it?
The peppers used in making smoked paprika are smoked before they are ground, adding a strong smoky quality to the spice, which is delicious in dishes like chilies and dips. It is sometimes labeled as Spanish paprika.
Substitutes?
You can use a little bit of sweet paprika or any other type of paprika as a substitute, or omit.
Tastes like?
Fragrant with a smoky, slightly spicy kick
