Ingredients
- 4 to 5 pound beef brisket
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 can of beer
Preparation
Preheat oven to 325°F.
Place brisket in a baking pan. Sprinkle brisket with garlic powder and onion soup mix. Pour beer over the top of the meat. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 3 to 4 hours until a a meat thermometer inserted in the brisket reads 155°F.
Remove from oven and remove the foil. Allow brisket to cool for 1/2 hour and then slice and serve warm.
If you have any leftovers, this brisket makes a great sandwich the next day-it only gets better tasting!
