- 1/4 cup barbecue sauce – whatever is left at the bottom of the jar
- 1/4 cup ranch dressing (eyeball it)
- 1 chipotle in adobo, seeded and chopped (optional)
Pour a couple of splashes of orange juice into the bottom of an almost-empty barbecue sauce jar or bottle and shake to combine.
Pour the mixture into the pan after cooking meat or fish, stirring to scrape up any bits that may be stuck to the bottom of the pan, and reduce until syrupy.
