- 2 plums, pitted and thinly sliced
- 2 cups cherries, pitted
- 6-8 basil leaves
- 1/4 cup Kirschwasser or any cherry brandy
- 1 orange, thinly sliced
- 1 bottle red wine, such as Petite Syrah or Nero d’Avola
In a large pitcher, muddle the plums, cherries and basil with the Kirschwasser to release some of their juices. Add in the orange and wine. Stir to combine.
Serve in glasses over ice.
