Cherry Sugar Fizz
This cocktail was given to us by master mixologist and close friend of Rachael’s, Nick Mautone, who wrote the book, Raising The Bar.
Nick says about this drink, “Probably my favorite. Festive fun and yummy. Will work for Valentine’s Day as well as winter holidays.”
- 1 ounce VeeV Acai Liqueur
- 1/2 ounce Cherry Brandy
- 1 lump of sugar
- Dash of Bitters
- Sparkling wine
- Sugar for rimming the glass
- Grenadine for rimming the glass
Place the grenadine on one small plate and the sugar on another. Invert the glass and dip the rim into the grenadine and then right into the sugar. The glass will be frosted with a festive red sugar lip. In a champagne glass, add the sugar cube bitters, VeeV, and brandy. Fill with sparkling wine.
