This is the best and fastest southern sweet in Arkansas from my mom.I had to learn to make it for dad. I learned how to make this as I was taking care of my mom in her years of declining health. Now my dad is alone and he does love this one!
- 2 store-bought pie crusts
- 1 jar applesauce (48 ounces)
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 cups sugar
Pre-heat oven to 400°F.
To applesauce add sugar, cinnamon, and flour to thicken mixture.
Pour mixture into a thawed crust and then cover with an almost thawed crust.
Bake 30-45 minutes
