Terri’s Triple Chocolate Chip Cookies
rachaelray.com site visitor, Terri Raynard was gracious enough to send us this recipe. Here’s what she has to say:
“This is my best cookie recipe and the first time I have given it out..I am asked daily to bake them for friends and family. This is one cookie that will have your friends and family begging for more!!!”
- 1 cup butter
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon rum extract
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 2/3 cup flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream together butter, brown sugar and white sugar. Beat until smooth Add egg, vanilla and rum extracts and blend together.
In a separate bowl, mix together flour, cocoa, salt and baking powder.
Add wet ingredients to dry, a little at a time and stir but don’t over mix.
Roll dough into small balls and place a few inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet or a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 10 minutes. Cookies will not look done but they will be. Allow to cool one minutes on the tray and then slide onto cooking racks and let cookies cool completely before serving.
