The Longest Night Martini
This cocktail was given to us by master mixologist and close friend of Rachael’s, Nick Mautone, who wrote the book, Raising The Bar.
- 1 part Bombay Sapphire Gin or other high quality gin
- 1/2 part maraschino liqueur
- 1 part pomegranate liqueur
- 1/2 part Triple Sec
- 1/4 part sweet vermouth
- 3 dashes angostura bitters
- Lemon wedge
Rub the juicy side of the lemon wedge on the outer edge of a chilled martini cocktail glass and roll the glass lip in the sugar.
Add remaining ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously until the outside of the shaker is frosted and beaded with sweat. Strain into martini cocktail glass filled with crushed ice.
