Grandma’s Bread in a Can

This “recipe” features a unique cooking technique from user Jo Ellen Dykstra.

Preparation

Mix up your favorite bread. I prefer pistachio (looks festive), banana or a carrot bread.


Empty and clean vegetable cans. Place the cut off lid in the bottom of the can and spray the inside of the can with cooking spray. Fill the can 2/3 full and bake according to your bread recipe. Once cooled, the bread will slide right out of the can. Slowly pull the lid off the end of bread. Wrap in colored plastic wrap for a gifts or holiday treat.
