Small Strawberries with Lemon

Serve this delightful dessert with Fettuccini with Garden Vegetables and Greens and Bruschetta with Hot Cherry Tomatoes.

Ingredients

  • 2 pints small berries, whole or halved, stemmed and hulled
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • A handful of fresh mint leaves, torn or shredded

Preparation

Toss the berries with the lemon and sugar in a serving bowl. Let stand for a few minutes, then stir in the mint and serve.
