Sugar Plum Fairy

This cocktail was given to us by master mixologist and close friend of Rachael’s, Nick Mautone, who wrote the book, Raising The Bar.

Nick tells us that “The name alone makes me smile but the drink is seriously delicious.”

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon plum preserves or 2 prunes
  • 1/2 ounce Simple Syrup
  • 1 1/2 ounce VeeV Acai Spirit
  • 1 ounce lemon juice
  • 3/4 ounce Parfait Amour
  • Sugared rim and dried plum, for garnish

Preparation

In the bottom of a cocktail shaker place the syrup, preserves or prunes and muddle thoroughly. Add ice and the rest of the ingredients. Shake vigorously. Double strain into a cocktail glass and garnish.
