Rachael Ray's Feedback
What Is Feedback?
Feedback is a festival created by Rachael Ray to celebrate music and food, which together makes a beautiful pairing. Feedback started out as a small party in Austin, Texas, during the SXSW music festival in 2008 and has become an annual, highly anticipated event. It has grown in attendance from 1,500 the first year, to over 8,000 in 2012. Simply put, we showcase excellent up-and-coming musical acts, along with one or two more well-known bands. So as not to leave our music lovers hungry, Rachael writes recipes especially for these events and we serve them alongside customized cocktails. We sponsor our events with hand-selected partners and tastefully integrate them to give the crowd a complete and rich experience.
In 2010, we brought Feedback to the streets of Brooklyn where we found that our concept is not only popular with Texans.
In 2011 and 2012, we added a three-day, VIP "house" kicknamed the Greenhouse. It served as an oasis for musicians and other industry professionals to kick back and hear even more music, socialize and grab some food and drinks, away from the madness of SXSW. This concept has proven to be magical and was voted one of the best parties of the week, two years in a row.
Feedback is a festival created by Rachael Ray to celebrate up and coming artists in the indie music world by pairing Rachael's food and beverages with musical performances by select artists and one of two surprise veterans. Our festival began in Austin, Texas and has traveled to NYC to play host to such superstars as Wanda Jackson, The Hold Steady, The New York Dolls, Fitz and the Tantrums and The Bravery. Each year we return to Austin in March and this year will be no exception. Over 8,000 people attended last year's main event at Stubb's BBQ.
"If there is a better way to start the final day of a long festival than sipping on a sweet tea while listening to I Can See Clearly Now and scarfing down Ray's Tex Mex fiesta, I am yet to find it." - National Post
