Keep your drying machine clean and prevent dryer fire

Recently, someone told me their dryer wasn’t working too well and that she had to run clothing through twice and sometimes three times to get it dry. I asked her when she last cleaned the exhaust hose and she looked at me like I had three heads. People, if you don’t know to do this already, you must make sure you do. Not only will it help your laundry to dry better, just like you need to change your vacuum bags to make the vacuum work properly, but it is a major safety issue.

Needless to say, my friend and her husband took the dryer exhaust hose off the dryer and shook it out, only to find about 6 feet of lint trapped inside. No wonder it wasn’t working well! It is a 20-year old dryer that now works as good as new. Maybe it’s time you cleaned yours??
