How not to burn hashbrowns?

Please help me Rachel!

My husband likes crispy hashbrowns and I do too.  However, when I try to make them crispy, I burn them.  How do you make nicely browned crispy hasbrowns?

Dear Jennifer,

Make sure when you are cooking the hashbrowns that you do not have the heat on too high or it will burn the oil too quickly.  Also, butter has a higher burning point than oil so if you want to use butter, blend it with a little oil to slow down the burn.
