For the Love of Meatballs

Consider the mighty meatball. What makes it so wonderful? 

Perhaps it’s because meatballs come in lots of different sizes. Or maybe it’s that they’re fun to make. They’re featured in cuisines across the world. You can eat them with toothpicks or in bowls of noodles. They’ll make you think of home and your (real or imagined) Italian grandma. 

Alas, we may never know precisely why meatballs have captured our hearts, minds, and stomachs. Science has yet to prove why they’re such dinner table darlings. But we think that, if you put in the time and effort to conducting your own research, you’ll come up with your own reasons.
