10 Simple Deviled Egg Recipes

The start of a dinner party is the toughest part – and no, we’re not talking about the stress of having lots of guests over for a meal. It’s the scents! The heavenly, wonderful aromas of a roast finishing in the oven or fresh rolls baking up are misery when you’re hungry. 

To keep guests (and cooks) feeling happy, try serving one of Rach’s all time favorite appetizers: deviled eggs.

The best thing about deviled eggs is how easy it is to make them. In minutes you can whip up awesome, flavorful, bite-sized snacks that call for very little clean up. 

Simply hard-boil the eggs, scoop out the yolks, add spices and sauces, and refill with the newly flavored yolk mixture. If you’re struggling to crack the eggs, try Rachael’s method: When they’re done, drain the water and leave them in the pot. Shake the pot until they crack, then run the eggs under cold water until cool enough to handle. She also prefers having her eggs stand upright for easier transportation, so Rach often trims the bottom of the eggs so they have a flat surface to stand on.
