This year, Rachael’s celebrated the 10th anniversary of her signature food and music festival: Feedback! One of her favorite times of the year, the festivities span two venues over three days, with almost 30 bands. More than 6,400 people attended, and more delicious bites of food, refreshing drinks, and smiles were to be had than we could count.
At Stubb’s, thousands of fans noshed on Rachael’s newest Feedback recipes, which featured a pretty “cheesy” theme:
Fourteen bands played on 3 stages, and it was one of our most fun times at Stubb’s BBQ yet! Then, it was off to the Feedback House, for 3 more bands and delicious eats (P.S. Did we mention that Nutrish brought adoptable puppies earlier to the event?!) awaited the crowd.
But why tell you what happened? Take a look instead!

Action Bronson got sick and couldn’t make Feedback. Lucky for us, Hamilton Leithauser was able to step in! (Photo by Charles Reagan Hackleman)

As a special surprise to the crowd, conductor/composer Teddy Abrams and the Austin String Quartet joined Weezer, The Cringe, and The Districts for special orchestral arrangements of their music. (Photo by Charles Reagan Hackleman)

Actor Adrian Grenier and the Lonely Whale Foundation brought their “Stop Sucking” campaign to Feedback to help end the use of plastic straws (500 million are used in the U.S. each day!). It included a fun photo booth – keep clicking for more! (Photo by Charles Reagan Hackleman)

They provided Feedback with custom paper straws instead! (Photo by Charles Reagan Hackleman)

The next huge act to hit the stage? Weezer! Racheal was front and center to take it all in. (Photo by Charles Reagan Hackleman)

At the end of the show, Rachael and John asked everyone to pose with them for a “family photo.” We love you, Stubb’s! (Photo by Charles Reagan Hackleman)

Back at the Feedback House, the crowd was ready for more food and fun! Here are some of our favorite snaps from our three days there… (Photo by Charles Reagan Hackleman)

We’ll talk about music in a moment, but did we tell you what Rachael’s
pet food line,
Nutrish, did? They set up a puppy kisses photo booth! Adoptable pups from the Austin Animal Center came by between sets to share the love. (Photo by Charles Reagan Hackleman)

The day before, Rachael got to hold 3 adoptable fur babies at once. Heaven. (Photo by Charles Reagan Hackleman)

The crowd on Saturday started their night with an amazing performance from Emily Estefan! (Photo by Charles Reagan Hackleman)

And everyone enjoyed sipping on a Bloody Johnny – with Slim Jim a stirrer! (Photo by Charles Reagan Hackleman)

Everything we ate thanks to King’s Hawaiian was amazing. And Jack’s Quality Beans came back for another year to help us with some tasty sides. (Photo by Charles Reagan Hackleman)

Over the whole long weekend, there wasn’t a frown to be found! Thank you everyone for another amazing year! (Photo by Charles Reagan Hackleman)
And a big thanks to…
…our incredible and supportive sponsors, without whom Feedback would not be possible. Thank you for making our 10th year even more delicious and memorable!

We’d also like to give a huge shout to our partners who made Feedback’s 10th anniversary even more special: Deep Eddy Vodka, Art Institute of Austin, Hint Water, Vienna Beef, PopSockets, and the Lonely Whale Foundation.
