Berry Delicious Ice Cream

Serve with Clam Chowda Mug o’ Soup with Deviled Ham and Cheese Melt Mug Toppers.


  • 1 1/2 cups frozen blueberries
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • Splash orange-flavored liqueur, such as Grand Marnier
  • 1 pint fresh raspberries
  • French vanilla ice cream, for serving


In a small pot combine the blueberries, sugar and cinnamon stick. Put the pot over medium heat and cook until the sugar dissolves and the berries burst. Remove the pot from the heat and add the orange-flavored liqueur and the raspberries. Gently mix to combine, being careful not to mush the raspberries.

Scoop the ice cream into individual bowls. Top ice cream with the warm berry compote.
