Salsa Verde Dip

An avocado, sour cream and lime juice enlivens bottom-of-the-jar salsa verde.


  • 1 almost-gone jar salsa verde (only a couple tablespoons left)
  • 1 avocado, chopped
  • Juice of one-half lime
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
  • Salt and pepper


Combine all the ingredients in the salsa jar, screw the top back on and shake to combine. Pour into a bowl and serve with chips.
