This tiramisu-inspired sundae makes a quick treat. Serve for dessert with Zuppo Osso Buco.


  • 2 cups vanilla wafer cookies, lightly crushed
  • 1/2 cup strong coffee, cooled
  • 4 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream
  • Chocolate syrup, for drizzling
  • Whipped cream, from a canister
  • 4 maraschino cherries


Place 1/2 cup cookie crumbs in each of four sundae dishes or dessert cups. Douse with coffee sweetened with sugar. Top with ice cream, chocolate syrup, whipped cream and cherries on top.
