Yellow Tomato and Zucchini Flower Salsa


  • 1 large or 2 medium yellow heirloom tomatoes, coarsely chopped
  • 12 zucchini flowers, stamens removed
  • 1/2 small red onion, coarsely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, coarsely chopped
  • 1 jalapeño chile, halved and seeded
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley leaves
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro leaves


In a food processor, combine all the ingredients. Process until fairly smooth. Transfer to a fine-mesh sieve to drain. Then transfer to a serving dish and refrigerate until chilled.
