Micro-way-cool Bacon and Green Beans

Serve with Smashed Potatoes and Cream Cheese [1] and Meatloaf Muffins with Barbecue Sauce [2].



Place the bacon between paper towels and microwave for 60 seconds on high. Cool the bacon and chop or crumble it up.

Place the green beans in a bowl [4] and drizzle them with EVOO [3], salt and pepper. Cover the bowl [4] loosely with plastic wrap and microwave the green beans on high for 5 minutes; stir and cook for 5 minutes more. Remove the wrap and top the green beans with crumbled bacon.
