- 1 cup heavy cream, optional
- Pinch powdered sugar, optional
- 4 oz. milk or dark chocolate
- 1/2 – 1 Tablespoon smooth peanut butter
- Tiny pinch of salt
- 2 cups milk
- 1 Tablespoon peanut butter or toffee chips, option garnish
Place heavy cream in a stand mixer and whip on high speed. Add a few pinches of powdered sugar and whip until medium or stiff peaks form. If you do not have a stand mixer, you may use a handheld mixer – or if using a whisk , beat by hand. When finished, place in fridge until ready to use.
Place a small nonstick saucepot  or skillet over low heat and add the chocolate, peanut butter, and a tiny pinch of salt. Gently stir with a whisk  until melted, and then slowly add the milk. Whisk until smooth and incorporated and heated through- no need to boil.
Divide between 2 mugs. Place a dollop of whipped cream on top and garnish with peanut butter chips or toffee chips.
